Justin Fairweather is a filmmaker with an eye towards intermingling emotional truth with fresh innovation. His documentary short, ROGER J. CARTER: REBEL REVOLUTIONARY, was an official selection at SXSW 2023. Justin's 2018 thesis short, DOG PERSON, claimed the DGA Grand Jury Prize for Best African American Student Film in 2019. With a portfolio spanning narratives, documentaries, and commercials, Justin aims to combine tones and genres to create new cinematic experiences tethered to relatable, human stories. Born in New York and raised in Maryland, Justin currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
